The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Dunn in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Mitch Dunn took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. If Mitch Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allen Goss having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Phyperstars FC's Allen Goss. Allen Goss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phyperstars FC's Allen Goss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 29th minute of play. Matthew Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Allen Goss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitch Dunn was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Dunn in the 58th minute of the match. Allen Goss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Phyperstars FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerrod Castillo. In the 76th minute, Rodger Emerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodger Emerson to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allen Goss. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mitch Dunn came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Phyperstars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitch Dunn couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allen Goss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allen Goss made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
