A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Finlay Stair hit a great ball. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Sciotto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 47th minute, Edmondo Urbani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fiume Veneto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Sciotto to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriano Sciotto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 61st playminute. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Andrea Natalucci sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Adriano Sciotto could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Demonde Jacobson however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute, Fiume Veneto's Bruno Rossetti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After 80 minutes Jamaica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adriano Sciotto who took care of the corner kick. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Bruno Rossetti sent off a good shot on target. Demetrio Giorgi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Giorgi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fiume Veneto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Jamaica. Finlay Stair stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Camillo Malatesta. 2-5. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Bernardo Moreschi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Sciotto in the 95th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
