Tyrone Summerfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 9th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Perico in the 10th minute. Tyrone Summerfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Tyrone Summerfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víctor Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Remigio Palban hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Tyrone Summerfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Víctor Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muñeco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Víctor Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filomeno Caton. When Víctor Franco came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Muñeco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víctor Franco couldn't finish the play. If Prudencio Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Prudencio Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muñeco FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Caitano took the corner. Hugo Caitano made a great header on Muñeco FC's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Muñeco FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hugo Caitano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Muñeco FC's zone, Camilo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrone Summerfield came out of the goal and Camilo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Hermengildo Domeka made the kick off in the second half. Tyrone Summerfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Muñeco FC's Remigio Palban got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 57th minute of play forced Muñeco FC's goalkeeper Tyrone Summerfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Perico in the 59th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrone Summerfield made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Adan Lizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tyrone Summerfield. Tyrone Summerfield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 65th match minute, Muñeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Domeka to maneuver through the defense. If Víctor Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Muñeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrone Summerfield saved Muñeco FC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Domeka notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tyrone Summerfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 83rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goalkeeper Tyrone Summerfield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. 94 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tyrone Summerfield. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
