A collision led to Red Reign getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jeremias Castulo hit a great ball. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dawid Ratulowski. Dawid Ratulowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Dawid Ratulowski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derlis Florentin in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Red Reign's goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Maximo Villamarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
