The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Claudio Di Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. Claudio Di Palma came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Di Palma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Corte di Camasco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Di Palma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute 曾霆耀 suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Corte di Camasco's Aldo Cameli was substituted for 曾霆耀. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Claudio Di Palma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mahir Akgün sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced Corte di Camasco's goalkeeper Claudio Di Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Mahir Akgün made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Mahir Akgün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mahir Akgün in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corte di Camasco's goalkeeper Claudio Di Palma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Evert Helander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mahir Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 64 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evert Helander who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Corte di Camasco's Evert Helander to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Corte di Camasco made a substitution. Adriano Trivelli replaced Mahir Akgün. In the 68th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 71st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Di Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Corte di Camasco's Claudio Di Palma got control of the ball when Luis Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Carta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corte di Camasco were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evert Helander took the corner. The corner led Corte di Camasco's Domenico Ritacco to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Claudio Di Palma made a huge save. Claudio Di Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Corte di Camasco and deserved their victory. The Corte di Camasco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
