Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Deportivo el Divague booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wei Chao Yi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo el Divague's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Wei Chao Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Deportivo el Divague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Fe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Diego Fe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Apolo Banegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Apolo Banegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Deportivo el Divague's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball.

After having played for 55 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Deportivo el Divague's Diego Fe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Fe in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Apolo Banegas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo el Divague fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 83rd minute of the game Eustaquio Chuan made a throw-in which Felipe Gombal played forward. Wei Chao Yi was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 88th minute of the game Eustaquio Chuan made a throw-in which Apolo Banegas played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Wei Chao Yi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Deportivo el Divague had won, even though Venezuela had held more of the ball.
