Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jenson Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Nery Pumpido skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. GuateFortín's Severo Rameriz was substituted for Stanyo Búnkov. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raphael Moore fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USA's protests and gave Raphael Moore a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Moore hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Jansson scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Raphael Moore with Cassius Byrne as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nery Pumpido made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zach Harrison in the 63rd minute of play. Nery Pumpido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Thierry Henry. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Raphael Moore with Sam Campbell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 85 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Campbell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. 92 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
