After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Atilla Açıkalın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Sebastian Demesio replaced Felipe Haitz. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Ángel Torres. That made the score 3-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Sebastian Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Montenegro got in the 65th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Miguel Ángel Torres. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-2. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Ángel Torres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. Ignacio Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Ángel Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 101st minute Atilla Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LA LUZ F.C..
