A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Olejarz in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. Leonardo Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Penha's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Federico Vani hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Denis Gergori got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Bertoni came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Sanz during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Penha got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Davide Di Tommaso. The ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Leonardo Penha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Penha in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Covarrubias's late challenge caught a ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Olejarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 66 minutes, Primitivo Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Penha. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Olejarz, made in the 77th minute of the game. Hector Covarrubias got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Penha in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Leonardo Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 0-5. The throw-in from Daniel Olejarz in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. Leonardo Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Davide Di Tommaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonardo Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 93 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
