After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Jiang Wei Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Johnni Kirkskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Erik Angvik in the 19th minute. Jose Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnni Kirkskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 39th minute of play forced BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Queirós during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes BK Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Queirós. Johnni Kirkskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Johnni Kirkskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 51st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnni Kirkskov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Procopio in the 60th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jiang Wei Zhen in the 63 minute of the game. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Procopio in the 64th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 67th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Mo Qi Zheng might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Qi Zheng ran back to his position shaking his head. After 68 minutes of play, BK Skjold's Jose Eduino made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Jose Eduino made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After having played for 94 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Jose Eduino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2.
