Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski did a great save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute AS Gdynia were awarded a corner. Sandro Tonali went to the cornerflag to take it. AS Gdynia's Sandro Tonali was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fryderyk Cizeski. Fryderyk Cizeski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 25th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Wolnik in the 27th minute of play. Sandro Tonali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fryderyk Cizeski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fryderyk Cizeski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Pawel Wolnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play.

In the 54th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fryderyk Cizeski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sandro Tonali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of AS Gdynia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Wolnik in the 63rd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Wolnik came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Cizeski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Max Duinhoven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Max Duinhoven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Duinhoven in the 78th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radowit Ostrowski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Cizeski having to interfere. With his leg Fryderyk Cizeski managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fryderyk Cizeski could save by the left post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Duinhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes AS Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Markos. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Leonard Lenertej was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
