The Team in Construction fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenny Van Beersel should have stopped the shot. Bạc Li's Tạ Duc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Vrints in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Phan Hoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kenny Van Beersel, passed just outside the right post. In the 58th minute, Jordy Van Achteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phạm Thi in the 63rd minute of play forced Team in Construction's goalkeeper Kenny Van Beersel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Team in Construction's zone, Phạm Thi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Van Beersel came out of the goal and Phạm Thi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Ngô Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Van Beersel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Team in Construction's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Hoa came free, but Kenny Van Beersel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Gunther Helssens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team in Construction's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bạc Li the free kick. A collision led to Team in Construction getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gunther Helssens hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Phan Hoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenny Van Beersel. Ngô Hong scored 1-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenny Van Beersel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
