The audience was convinced that Alberto Bidun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry Caballero was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Alberto Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Garry Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Set Fire's Alberto Bidun in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Garry Caballero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Bidun went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 20 played minutes Set Fire got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Bidun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Bidun in the 21st minute of play forced Beechbrook FC's goalkeeper Garry Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Alberto Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Beechbrook FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Bidun came free, but Garry Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Max Capps fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beechbrook FC's protests and gave Max Capps a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Beechbrook FC got a freekick which was hit by Max Capps. In the 33rd minute, Alberto Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Alberto Bidun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beechbrook FC's Garry Caballero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Max Capps heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Guadalupe Kearney charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guadalupe Kearney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Beechbrook FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Guadalupe Kearney hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Alberto Bidun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Set Fire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 46th minute of the match Robbie Ridliwan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garry Caballero skillfully saved the ball. Set Fire's Alberto Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Bidun made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Alberto Bidun made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Beechbrook FC's Garry Caballero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Capps in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Pedro Brais dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Garry Caballero, 0-6. Garry Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bagley in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Uter in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garry Caballero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Brais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Garry Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Bidun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Garry Caballero made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joe Cowan during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joe Cowan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Inocencio Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Bagley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th match minute, Beechbrook FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bagley to maneuver through the defense.

Set Fire's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
