The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Ivan Falck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmar Martins was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Mosh Pit's goalkeeper Charles Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauã Nunes. Antônio do Vale hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Osmar Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Mosh Pit's Ivan Falck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Mosh Pit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Osmar Martins came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Mosh Pit's Jens-Ove Hultstrand. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Hultstrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Osmar Martins came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mosh Pit's Ivan Falck. After 34 minutes of play, Mosh Pit's Mats Abrahamsson made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Ivan Falck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Martins. Varjoia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Falck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 39 minutes into the match, Ivan Falck notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Varjoia SC's Osmar Martins. Osmar Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Varjoia SC's Antônio do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Hultstrand in the 46th minute of play forced Varjoia SC's goalkeeper Osmar Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osmar Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Falck in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio do Vale to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sune Kleen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Martins. Varjoia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sune Kleen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. With a little luck, Varjoia SC's Osmar Martins got control of the ball when Sune Kleen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Mosh Pit's Ivan Falck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Osmar Martins. Osmar Martins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Varjoia SC's Osmar Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Varjoia SC from getting a goal against them. Osmar Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Löv in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Mats Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osmar Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After 71 minutes of play, Mosh Pit's Jan-Olof Löv made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Varjoia SC's Osmar Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Falck in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Varjoia SC's goalkeeper Osmar Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Falck. 79 minutes into the game, Mosh Pit's Jan-Olof Löv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Mosh Pit booed when Varjoia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Kleen got free with Osmar Martins in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Hultstrand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osmar Martins. Jens-Ove Hultstrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Loyola during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Varjoia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Ragnar Sjödin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osmar Martins skillfully saved the ball.
