When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodolfo Zamora sped through Lomas Centro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Ritchie. Alberigo Basile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Ritchie having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Basile in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Ritchie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Veto got free with Armando Anzolin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Enzo y Dino getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Amedeo Campoli hit a great ball. Armando Anzolin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Aureo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 41 minute of play. In the 44th minute Rodolfo Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Benarrivo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Antonio Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomas Centro's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Anaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Anzolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lomas Centro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Anselmo Martano scored to the left of an out of position Fabricio Ritchie, making the score, 1-6.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Enzo y Dino walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
