Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Levan Dost to make the kick off. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Farid Mondragon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Levan Dost ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Farid Mondragon made a huge save.
