Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Özdil having to interfere. Abdi Saygın Akbatu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdi Saygın Akbatu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Saygın Akbatu. Mustafa Birol Özdil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Birol Özdil. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mustafa Birol Özdil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mustafa Birol Özdil came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Andino slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balaban Felek's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balaban Felek helped the player get up and apologised. Balaban Felek kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Mustafa Birol Özdil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İskender Özbas to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Birol Özdil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute of play forced ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Özdil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Birol Özdil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Birol Özdil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Birol Özdil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Birol Özdil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute of play. Olcay Şahbey hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita scored 7-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Birol Özdil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
