Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 5th minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Alvise Catapano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Alvise Catapano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cassius Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fausto Jayaga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Murgu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gamus Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamen Tekeliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 39th minute of play. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Teixeira having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in USA reached it. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zach Harrison in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira got control of the ball when Zach Harrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Moore to maneuver through the defense. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. The Playa Malvín fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quinto Ampudia scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
