Osman Klaas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SALİDANİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SALİDANİ's goalkeeper Ali Erdem Serdengeçti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
