After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Facundo Cadaval fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Everardo Mingo quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ac Milan's Ilmi Duka got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Victorio Cano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ac Milan's goalkeeper Everardo Mingo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everardo Mingo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ac Milan's Everardo Mingo. Everardo Mingo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ilmi Duka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ac Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ac Milan's Ilmi Duka got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Tafalla during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ilmi Duka might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Korcan Bircanoğlu during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Ac Milan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Everardo Mingo. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 94th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilmi Duka, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
