Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Deunoro kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 3rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Deunoro went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Agustin Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Kusko hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Felix Luque made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caballeritos del Baile's Elpidio Hitz. After a defensive mix-up in Caballeritos del Baile's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Urtsua came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 22nd minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angelo Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Deunoro. 34 minutes into the match, Jairo Deunoro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 38th minute of play. Angelo Urtsua came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 45 minutes into the game, Jairo Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caballeritos del Baile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 45 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Deunoro. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Angelo Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes in the game Leonardo Leoz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Mancebo. Angelo Urtsua made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
