Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basilio Pepillo kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Basilio Pepillo in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Alan Campos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Segundo Herrera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Basilio Pepillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Alvarez in the 22nd minute of the match. Segundo Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The throw-in from Freddy Alvarez in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. When Basilio Pepillo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiadores Legionarios's protests and gave Basilio Pepillo a yellow card for diving instead. Basilio Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gladiadores Legionarios getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Atilano Jacob hit a great ball. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Basilio Pepillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segundo Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 71st minute of play. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Segundo Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. In the 86th minute, Florentino Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Gladiadores Legionarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Ourente to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Pepillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
