Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fırat Çakıroğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu. 9 minutes into the game, Senator S.A.K's Fırat Çakıroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Fırat Çakıroğlu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Alim Eslem. In the 20th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aykan Babür skillfully saved the ball. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykan Babür breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Fırat Çakıroğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Fırat Çakıroğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The supporters of Senator S.A.K booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Fırat Çakıroğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Senator S.A.K were awarded a corner. Alim Eslem went to the cornerflag to take it. Ziemowit Mis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 34 minutes into the game, Abuzer Sarıalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Senator S.A.K's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Abuzer Sarıalp hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Senator S.A.K were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alim Eslem took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Abuzer Sarıalp heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fırat Çakıroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ziemowit Mis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ziemowit Mis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Fırat Çakıroğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fırat Çakıroğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. If Fırat Çakıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Fırat Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Senator S.A.K's Fırat Çakıroğlu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Babür having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Fırat Çakıroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. If Fırat Çakıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 71st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fırat Çakıroğlu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abdurrahman Tezeren fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senator S.A.K's protests and gave Abdurrahman Tezeren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Babür saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fırat Çakıroğlu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Fırat Çakıroğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fırat Çakıroğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 84th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alim Eslem who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Senator S.A.K's corner Alim Eslem fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Senator S.A.K had played much better football throughout.
