The supporters of Kerteminde Boldklub booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Kerteminde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Roman Mehrtens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes Kerteminde Boldklub's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Honduras's Sebastian Villa to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Mehrtens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Tue Parslet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Haakon Haarbøl, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Roman Mehrtens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tue Parslet sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Nicolaus Kizlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haakon Haarbøl made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bertil Kapala. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Roman Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Flor during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andre Flor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Kerteminde Boldklub's Roman Mehrtens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Roman Mehrtens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute of play. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kerteminde Boldklub's Roman Mehrtens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Kerteminde Boldklub from getting a goal against them. Ture Vejlbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. In the 83rd minute, Eberhardt Osted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 85th minute of play forced Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Mehrtens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 minutes, Tue Parslet made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Roman Mehrtens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
