Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. The supporters of 南安普顿圣徒 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by 乔洲弘 in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that 卓坚枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 南安普顿圣徒's 雷夕沙 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 南安普顿圣徒 the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 20th minute of play forced 南安普顿圣徒's goalkeeper 雷夕沙 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 雷夕沙. 雷夕沙 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 雷夕沙 having to make a save. After having played for 28 minutes, 郭棋飞 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 南安普顿圣徒's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郭棋飞 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 卓坚枫 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, 庞耀俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, 南安普顿圣徒's 雷夕沙 got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 袁洲霆 charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 袁洲霆 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in 南安普顿圣徒 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Costa Rica a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Tasis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 南安普顿圣徒's 雷夕沙. 1-2. With a little luck, 南安普顿圣徒's 雷夕沙 got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 袁卫星 in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. In the 88th minute of the match 卓奕岚 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Tasis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 雷夕沙. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 98th minute. Costa Rica were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over 南安普顿圣徒's much stronger midfield.
