Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 南安普顿圣徒's 卓坚枫 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by 郭棋飞 with 卓坚枫 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 卓坚枫 scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 雷夕沙 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. When 南安普顿圣徒's 卓坚枫 in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. 雷夕沙 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when 卓坚枫 came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 雷夕沙 having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔洲弘 in the 52nd minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 南安普顿圣徒 the free kick. In the 67th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卓坚枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 卓坚枫 in the 79th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 卓坚枫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, 袁剑青 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 南安普顿圣徒 and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes 南安普顿圣徒 got a freekick which was hit by 袁剑青. After 93 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 雷夕沙 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 雷夕沙 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
