Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hector Urko sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match Sinbosteros got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Miro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sinbosteros's corner Mauricio Miro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Juan Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinbosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Ciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 43rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Urko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Roberto Napier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sinbosteros:s goal. Mauricio Miro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 62 minutes, Hector Urko made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Uriel Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Mikeldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinbosteros's goalkeeper Roberto Napier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Mikeldi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sinbosteros.
