Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jakab Szekeres's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakab Szekeres helped the player get up and apologised. Jakab Szekeres kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andor Mester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Panama were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Szombathelyi Haladás's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Dylan Sarmiento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andor Mester quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Andor Mester in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivér Hegedűs in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathelyi Haladás's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andor Mester came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Olivér Hegedűs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Jászberényi in the 33rd minute of play. Andor Mester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathelyi Haladás's Andor Mester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathelyi Haladás's Nándor Jászberényi. But to his dismay, Nándor Jászberényi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Szőlősi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Panama's Abraham Alguacil in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szombathelyi Haladás's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Szombathelyi Haladás getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gusztáv Détári hit a great ball. Andor Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Szombathelyi Haladás booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andor Mester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Nándor Jászberényi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andor Mester came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Panama were the better team. Panama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
