The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Rossetti got free with Camilo Freixa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 76th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Camillo Malatesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Moreschi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Papetti was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Claudio Papetti got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Camillo Malatesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Urbani in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Alfredo Ferrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bolivia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fiume Veneto's performance. The match ended with a win for Fiume Veneto.
