Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 卓震宽 having to interfere. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 卓震宽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Carlos Jiménez got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Elazar in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Carlos Jiménez. In the 36th minute of the match, Henry Lagarde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Yordan Pavurdzhiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Yordan Pavurdzhiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 卓震宽 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Henry Lagarde made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Carlos Jiménez in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Lagarde in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓震宽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 卓震宽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. 卓震宽 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Lagarde in the 61st minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 卓震宽 having to interfere. In the 74th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓震宽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the La Estacion FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 卓震宽. The La Estacion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 卓震宽 should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Lagarde, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Joel Sein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes La Estacion FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Sein. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got 卓震宽's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after La Estacion FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Daniel Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The La Estacion FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
