With an all-out effort, GRINGO FC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Beila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Beila, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Urbez. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Beila to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GRINGO FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kacper Piatek hit a great ball. Erasmo Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 55th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Beila in the 57th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erasmo Urbez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 63 played minutes GRINGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Selatse. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Erasmo Urbez in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, GRINGO FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Urbez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. GRINGO FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ryszard Nalaskowski took the corner. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GRINGO FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Urbez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Erasmo Urbez made a huge save. Erasmo Urbez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 84 minute of play. Erasmo Urbez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ecuador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
