Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Bastia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, EL REY DE LA CARNE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Txanton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to EL REY DE LA CARNE getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Justino Bastia hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after EL REY DE LA CARNE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltasar Santana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Santana. EL REY DE LA CARNE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 38th minute Adrian Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Txanton. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when EL REY DE LA CARNE's Adrian Txanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Silvio Gumaro with Jacinto Machado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. The audience held their breath when Salvador Eusko in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. Silvio Gumaro charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Gumaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, EL REY DE LA CARNE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Gumaro to maneuver through the defense.
