Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Erasmo Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Urbez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Beila in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Selatse. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Beila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GRINGO FC's Freddy Fanuco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Erasmo Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Urbez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. GRINGO FC's Erasmo Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GRINGO FC's Erasmo Urbez did a great save. In the 37th minute Fernando Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Beila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes in the game, Fernando Beila dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Erasmo Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Beila to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Fernando Beila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Fernando Beila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes GRINGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Selatse. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Fernando Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Beila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fabian Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GRINGO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Beila came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
