Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rickard Viberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zero Hedge's Wiktor Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Åke Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. A collision led to Zero Hedge getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rickard Viberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Åke Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Åke Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gottfrid Stenman in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wiktor Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes Zero Hedge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Åke Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bo-Erik Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Stenman in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Zero Hedge got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Nordström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hans Nordström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Luis Andino came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wiktor Wallander could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Wiktor Wallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Åke Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes Zero Hedge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Wiktor Wallander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wiktor Wallander. The goal made the score 0-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
