Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, KFC Welden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Simon Musseeuw to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gillis Degens having to make a save. In the 9th minute Kristen Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gillis Degens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Wouter Gijselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Gillis Degens in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wouter Gijselinckx struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Welden. With a little luck, KFC Welden's Gillis Degens got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gillis Degens having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gillis Degens. KFC Welden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Wouter Gijselinckx came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, KFC Welden's Frederik Van Beringhen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Van Eyken, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raf De Weijngaert who took care of the corner kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wouter Gijselinckx to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wouter Gijselinckx in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gillis Degens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wouter Gijselinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gillis Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gillis Degens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gillis Degens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. KFC Welden's Gillis Degens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of KFC Welden's Gillis Degens. Gillis Degens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KFC Welden made a substitution. Henri-Xavier Van den Dries replaced Wouter Gijselinckx. 80 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Jose Van Eyken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Jose Van Eyken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Gillis Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Henri-Xavier Van den Dries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
