The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Sitko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucjan Kossakowski in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Kossakowski. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Kaider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Sitko having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Hieronim Kaider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Hieronim Kaider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hieronim Kaider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Kaider in the 42nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Roland Soszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Czysty came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Kossakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hieronim Kaider came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the IGloopoL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Kaider couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Kaider in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IGloopoL's Lucjan Kossakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Sitko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to IGloopoL getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jacek Mlekodaj hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Edward Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IGloopoL's Wieslaw Kosakowski was substituted for Hieronim Kaider. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucjan Kossakowski who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in IGloopoL's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Sitko came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Kosakowski in the 94th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Kosakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
