Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Gitano started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Sigve Rossland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jarana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Wilfredo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Wilfredo Gitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gitano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yang Yao Kuan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Jarana FC's corner Yang Yao Kuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 27th minute Jarana FC were awarded a corner. Yang Yao Kuan went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Wilfredo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tadeo Distiratsu made a huge save.

A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. If Wilfredo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Wilfredo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Wilfredo Gitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Wilfredo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Wilfredo Gitano sent off a good shot on target. Wilfredo Gitano scored 1-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Gitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Gitano struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Tomas Illescas didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the match was over Jarana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
