When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Mahir Akgün sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. 40 minutes into the match, Evert Helander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Helander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Di Palma was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Aldo Carta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Aldo Carta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Corte di Camasco fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Corte di Camasco's Mahir Akgün looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mahir Akgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Evert Helander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Mahir Akgün who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Mahir Akgün made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. Mahir Akgün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 曾霆耀 hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Domenico Ritacco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 76th minute Mahir Akgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corte di Camasco's Ermanno Bucciarelli was substituted for Franco Bevilacqua. Claudio Di Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 86th minute of play. Oscar Barbereau hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Corte di Camasco booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Di Palma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corte di Camasco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
