Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Fryderyk Cizeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the AS Gdynia defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fryderyk Cizeski. The AS Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fryderyk Cizeski should have stopped the shot. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save AS Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Luca Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fryderyk Cizeski having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fryderyk Cizeski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Fryderyk Cizeski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Max Duinhoven came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, AS Gdynia's goalkeeper Fryderyk Cizeski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After 23 played minutes AS Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Tonali. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Wolnik in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Cadaval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fryderyk Cizeski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 32 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. In the 33rd minute Max Duinhoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Cizeski made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonard Lenertej's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Lenertej helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AS Gdynia's Leonard Lenertej got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Duinhoven was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, AS Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Fryderyk Cizeski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fryderyk Cizeski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Cizeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, AS Gdynia's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cyryl Skonieczny, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Lautaro Mancebo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fryderyk Cizeski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Cizeski having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Tonali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mexico booed when AS Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Lenertej didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Cizeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fryderyk Cizeski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Joel Gaona fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Joel Gaona a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them.
