Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Esa Hagelberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Claudiu Doinaș came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Vlahuță fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Doinaș couldn't finish the play. Adam Cosoreanu made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelo Trobbiani however managed to control. Gigi Miheș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petru Bute in the 16th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Trobbiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mihai Rusu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Tomozei might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 35th minute Claudiu Doinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marcelo Trobbiani sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Eriberto Bidari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Vlahuță's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 40th minute, one of FC Vlahuță:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Vlahuță. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Bute didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes in the game Adam Cosoreanu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Esa Hagelberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Doinaș to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute of play forced FC Vlahuță's goalkeeper Mihai Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Claudiu Doinaș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Vlahuță's Esa Hagelberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, FC Vlahuță's Claudiu Doinaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Petru Bute might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 66th minute Claudiu Doinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vlahuță's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Rusu came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esa Hagelberg scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Claudiu Doinaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Vlahuță's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
