Trifillia.FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Axel Tasis scored to the left of an out of position Ilias Papanikolas, making the score, 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Kyzeridis in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonis Meintanis during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Papanikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Aris Kravaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilias Papanikolas. Ilias Papanikolas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ntinos Kyzeridis put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. After 60 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Lautaro Puig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Kravaris got free with Benito Sanz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 81 minutes, Makis Chiotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Makis Chiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaggelis Salonikis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Vrakozonis to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Ilias Papanikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ntinos Kyzeridis got free with Benito Sanz in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Trifillia.FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
