Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Liu Xing Qiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wen Yi Peng. Liu Xing Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Liu Xing Qiang. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Liu Xing Qiang. Liu Xing Qiang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Facundo Cadaval fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liu Xing Qiang quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Xing Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Serafim Malta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Francesco Coscia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Malta. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erwin Jadamowitz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Branca in the 51st minute of play. Eugenio Cannata scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Francesco Coscia suffered a concussion after 62 minutes and had to leave the field. After 62 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Didier Skarsø was substituted for Francesco Coscia. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Liu Xing Qiang made a huge save. Didier Skarsø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Liu Xing Qiang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC made a substitution. Aldo Maiorano replaced Stefan Fausild. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Malta in the 83rd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Liu Xing Qiang firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Liu Xing Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Didier Skarsø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
