Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Tolsson started the match with the kick off. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of the match. Henry Tolsson scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Askelöf having to interfere. Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Tolsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Tolsson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henry Tolsson who took care of the corner kick. Åke Lundström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arman Högström in the 36th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Carl Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Tolsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carl Askelöf. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Askelöf having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Boomerang Bombers getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ted Asklöv hit a great ball. After 81 minutes Boomerang Bombers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Carl Askelöf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
