Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Urbez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Joanes having to interfere. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alfonso Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Urbez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falckner FC's Remigio Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Jonas Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Remigio Joanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Falckner FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remigio Joanes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 44 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Urbez. Falckner FC's Remigio Joanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Lleir went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Remigio Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Joanes came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Remigio Joanes got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Silverio Mazuste sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Jonas Urbez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After having played for 96 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Falckner FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
