Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Davies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Fabian Lundberg made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Birger Øvstebø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Potass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon-Erik Vedøy scored 0-7 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Lundberg in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Jon-Erik Vedøy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Cheeky Nuts United made a substitution. Henrik Rakvåg replaced Lukas Grønnestad. In the 60th minute, Doctor Potass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Birger Øvstebø took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Austad in the 67th minute of the match. The Cheeky Nuts United fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Cheeky Nuts United's Fabian Lundberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-14 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheeky Nuts United's Henrik Rakvåg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-15 after 81 minutes of play. Fabian Lundberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-16 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 84 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Austad went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Doctor Potass made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-18. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Øvstebø in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Potass came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Cheeky Nuts United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacao throughout the match.
