Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 6th play minutes Panait Oprea shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijan Ojdanić in the 10th minute of play. Panait Oprea struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ionion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Oprea in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Oprea in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Panait Oprea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Panait Oprea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Abalos having to make a save. Fabio Abalos made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Panait Oprea notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Oprea, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Oprea in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Panait Oprea made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Panait Oprea put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijan Ojdanić in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Panait Oprea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. When ionion's Panait Oprea in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Dragoş Zăvoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.

Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Oprea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragoş Zăvoiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Dragoş Zăvoiu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 64th minute. With an all-out effort, ionion's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Panait Oprea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marijan Ojdanić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Taner Zübeyr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ionion and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ionion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taner Zübeyr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Panait Oprea came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Abalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grigore Pădure's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grigore Pădure helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ionion getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Grigore Pădure hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a ionion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ştefan Isvoreanu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. ionion played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
