Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Kravaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 36 minutes of play Venezuela's Patricio Costa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aris Kravaris sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 41 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 45 minutes on the clock, Jose Correa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aris Kravaris to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ntinos Kyzeridis in the 56th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The Trifillia.FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute Aris Kravaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Achilleas Karaflas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-3 came in the 78th minute when Joshua Secada all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ilias Papanikolas. Joshua Secada came free in the 87th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ilias Papanikolas, but to the joy of Trifillia.FC's supporters the ball went over. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Salonikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Secada fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 91st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas.
