The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Mallinger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Marcel Mallinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang Yang Yuan got free with Rolando Noboa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anfilogino Alfonsi went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcel Mallinger came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Szüczs. The throw-in from Kim Rehmer in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FV Wienerwald's Steffen Eisenheld. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anfilogino Alfonsi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Milagros Fraga hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Ralf Szüczs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Anfilogino Alfonsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Anfilogino Alfonsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiang Yang Yuan to make the kick off. 52 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcel Mallinger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 59th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Mallinger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Nienhaus in the 71st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Felix Hanschirik replaced Ralf Szüczs. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Nienhaus in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Den Bosche, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Kim Rehmer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 91st minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcel Mallinger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcel Mallinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
