Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paulo José de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 played minutes Racing F. C got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Damião. A collision led to Racing F. C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jorge Fontes hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Souto having to interfere. Oscar Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Racing F. C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ciro Pereira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 17th minute of play forced Racing F. C's goalkeeper Oscar Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Souto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Souto was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Oscar Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 28th minute of play forced Racing F. C's goalkeeper Oscar Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Aaron Alcocer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Racing F. C's Oscar Souto. Oscar Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Racing F. C's Jorge Fontes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Souto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 38 minutes, Paulo José de Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing F. C and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo José de Lima hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Oscar Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo José de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Percival Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Damião in the 54th minute of play. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 81 played minutes Racing F. C got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Simão. After a defensive mix-up in Racing F. C's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Souto came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Paulo José de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing F. C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Racing F. C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa Rica's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa Rica.
