Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but 龚浩云 made a huge save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, 山东泰山队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 黄辰笑 to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, 山东泰山队's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but 龚浩云 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 龚浩云. The goal made the score 1-0. 龚浩云 made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 杜亦诚 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 黄辰笑 who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in 黄辰笑 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Alexander Arnold kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 雷珂寒 kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zheng Feng Ling made a kick off. Zheng Feng Ling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Arnold in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Zheng Feng Ling made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Zheng Feng Ling recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Zheng Feng Ling showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 70th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when 山东泰山队's 杜亦诚 in the 71st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 龚浩云. 山东泰山队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Arnold. 龚浩云 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杜亦诚 in the 90th minute of play. After 96 played minutes 山东泰山队 got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Nakonieczny. 山东泰山队 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
